On Krypton, Kara, daughter of leader Zor-el, is thrust into the center of the chaos that will lead to the destruction of her planet.
During the last days of Krypton, Zor-El persuades the high council to continue mining operations for the defence effort against Zod despite Jor-El's concerns. Meanwhile, Zor-El's daughter, Kara, and her boyfriend, Ago, are caught in a fiery explosion at school.
Shaken from the explosions that destroyed most of Kandor, including her school, Kara fears the worst for her father who is at the city's mining facility. Despite Ago's protests, Kara travels to the mining core where she uncovers a shocking secret about Zor-El.
Kara learns about the eerie prophecy of Rao when a shocking secret involving her father is revealed. Kara must escape Kandor's mining facility before the prophecy becomes a dangerous reality.
General Zod has been captured and Jor-El stops Krypton from destruction by halting Kandor's mining operations. However, Kara is not out of danger yet and she must use her wits to survive this dangerous situation.
Kara sends an urgent message to Lara revealing the secret she has uncovered and the catastrophic outcome it may cause. Her warning may give Lara a chance to send baby Kal-El to Earth.
Kara must quickly leave Krypton in order to survive. Meanwhile, Jor-El and Lara have plans to save their only son, Kal-El, by sending him to Earth.
